Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. In 1997, she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an actor'sworkshop held in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during an Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following using social networks.
